Note
Check out the
Calendar
page. I added an interactive calendar and dates for the current
and next month's events. I also added some military
interest articles from Wikipedia. If you are not familiar with
Wikipedia it is a free content website that can be contributed
to by anyone around the world.

From the
Webmaster:
First of all, I'm not a professional Webmaster as you can probably
tell. I'm just a member trying to help wherever I can. My intention
is to create a website that is clean and simple to read and that
contains information pertinent to the members of VFW Post 2137, its
Auxiliary and to friends and the greater community. Websites are
living documents that must be refreshed and changed constantly to be
relevant. In order to make that happen I need your help.
1. If you have any news or announcements that need to be posted,
please send them to me in e-mail and I'll edit and post them to the
site. That lets me just paste them in and saves a bunch of retyping.
2. The same applies for pictures. If you e-mail them to me I can
convert them to web photo size and paste them right in.
3. If you cannot do either please mail me the story and photos and
I'll scan them and post them and return the originals to you.
4. You can call me at 817-657-7768 or, better yet, e-mail me at
rdriscol@msn.com.
5. I am wide open to comments and suggestions to make this site
better, so please bring them to me. I will be commenting more as we
go forward to inform everyone what's new and about particular
progress we've made to improve the site.
Thanks for reading,
Rich Driscoll
